Live entertainment is something we have been missing for what seems to be an eternity and it feels like Circus Extreme really have gone the extra mile to put on a stunning show that will thrill people of all ages.
This adrenaline-packed performance, filled with stunts and acts had my grandchildren on the edge of their seats throughout the entire performance.
Acts included the Danguir Troupe, who performed a high wire and double wheel of death stunt, an extreme motorcycle stunt riding team performing jaw-dropping stunts and Henry the Prince of Clowns, keeping the audience amused throughout the show.
It really was great to see families who have been cooped up for so long enjoying themselves in the arena in a Covid safe environment.
This really is an event with something for everyone. If you’re a petrol-head, theatre-goer, thrill seeker or wanting to see one of the greatest shows of its time, make sure to get your tickets fast.
Circus Extreme has recently been featured for Amazon Prime in The Real Greatest Showmen series. The show runs 6 – 15 August at Elm Park, Filton, Bristol, BS34 7PS

August 17, 2021 at 2:34 pmI am a circus fan of over sixty years. Unashamedly old fashioned in my traditional circus tastes. Yet this show was something else. Every act was just superb and the presentation so slick. Presumably the lady (Laura Miller?) who does the aerial/ water number is who I must have seen some years ago at the Monte Carlo Festival. It seemed strange seeing her act on our Recreation Ground at Filton. I didn’t see any programmes on sale. A pity as its nice to have a printed record of the show with some background information of the acts. Anyway, the best night out at a circus in a long time!
