I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Chophouse Restaurant at Future Inns Bristol, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.
My partner chose the ribeye steak, which was cooked to perfection – juicy, full of flavour, and seared beautifully. I tried the recommended sea bass, which was fresh, delicate, and wonderfully seasoned. Both dishes were excellent examples of how well the kitchen team balance quality ingredients with spot-on cooking.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist the lemon cheesecake and the chocolate fondant. The cheesecake was light yet indulgent, with just the right zesty kick, while the fondue was rich, fun to share, and came with a refreshing punchy orange sorbet and the perfect sweet ending to the meal.
A special mention has to go to Sofia, the Food & Beverage Manager, whose passion and professionalism are clear to see. She leads an amazing, happy team, who were attentive,
welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do – it created such a warm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the evening.
After dinner, we headed down to the jazz bar, a stylish space with a great vibe. It’s also available for private parties of up to 80 guests, making it an ideal spot for events and celebrations.
Overall, the Chophouse is more than just a hotel restaurant – it’s a destination in its own right. Whether you’re in shopping next door in Bristol Cabot circus, organising festive celebration or just looking for a great meal and evening out, I’d highly recommend it.
The new winter menu is out 6th October.
