Arab Night has become one of Bristol's best-known shisha lounges by doing the basics exceptionally well. Every bowl is packed by hand by staff who have been preparing shisha for years — fluffed, not pressed, so the airflow stays open and the smoke stays cool. We use natural coconut coals rather than quick-light, which means no harshness and no chemical aftertaste, just clean flavour from the first draw.

Our team walks the floor constantly. Coals are rotated and refreshed throughout your session without you having to ask, so the bowl never turns bitter halfway through the night. It is a small detail, and it is the reason guests tell us our shisha beats lounges in London and Cardiff.

Flavours and blends
We stock premium leaf from the best-known houses alongside our own mixes. Expect the classics — double apple, mint, grape and lemon — plus fruit-forward blends such as watermelon mint, blueberry, passionfruit and strawberry cream. Ask the team for a custom mix and they will build something around what you like.

Fresh fruit heads are available on request: a hollowed pineapple, melon or orange in place of a clay bowl, which keeps the smoke exceptionally cool and adds a natural sweetness. They take a few extra minutes to prepare and are worth the wait for a birthday or a special occasion at our Bristol lounge.

Drinks
Full juice bar pressed to order, signature mocktails, and a proper drinks list of cocktails, beers, wines and spirits — all served alongside your shisha.

Freshly pressed juices
Our juice bar is the busiest counter in the lounge. Everything is made to order from whole fruit — orange and strawberry, mango and banana, watermelon and mint, pineapple, avocado and honey. Nothing is pre-mixed and nothing comes from concentrate, which is why they arrive at the table still cold from the press.

Signature mocktails
If you want something with a bit more theatre, our mocktails are built like cocktails without the alcohol: strawberry mojito, virgin piña colada, passionfruit spritz and mango sunrise, all finished with fresh fruit and plenty of ice. They are the natural partner to a fruit-head shisha.

Alcoholic drinks
For guests who drink, the bar is fully stocked. Expect chilled beers, house red, white and rosé wines, prosecco, and a spirits shelf covering vodka, gin, rum, whisky and traditional arak and raki. Our bartenders also mix the classics — mojito, espresso martini, margarita and Long Island iced tea.

We serve responsibly: over-18s only, with a Challenge 25 policy in place, and we are happy to arrange taxis at the end of the night.

Hot drinks and desserts
Round the evening off with Arabic coffee, carob tea, Moroccan mint tea or a karak. Our dessert counter runs late with baklava, kunafa, cheesecake and waffles prepared fresh throughout the night.

The best Saturday night in Easton
Saturdays at Arab Night have become a fixture in Bristol. From around 9 pm the lights drop, the neon comes on and our resident DJ moves through Arabic and Khaleeji classics into Afrobeats, R&B and the odd chart moment. The volume is set so you can still talk across the table — this is a lounge, not a nightclub.

Entry is free and the kitchen, dessert counter and shisha service all run right through until close at 3 am.

Celebrations and group bookings
We host birthdays, engagements, graduations and cultural celebrations most weekends. Reserve the private majlis room or a run of booths for your group, and the team can arrange sparklers, a cake table and a shout-out from the DJ. Larger parties are welcome — just give us a call so we can lay the room out properly.

Doors are open from midday and the lounge starts filling from around 8 pm on a Saturday. Tables go quickly, so call 07862 552587 to reserve. Friday is our other late night, also open until 3 am, with a more relaxed playlist.
