Description
We exist to enable people with learning disabilities and autistic people, to live life the way they choose. We support children, young people, and adults.
Headquartered in Bristol for three decades, Brandon provides care and support services to 1,600 autistic people and people with learning disabilities.
Our team of more than 2,000 staff operates across the south of England and south Midlands, from London through to Warwickshire and Cornwall.
Our support ranges from light-touch enabling support in someone’s home, to children’s play schemes, accommodation with nursing and short-break services – all of which are designed to enable people to truly live free.
We don’t just provide services – we build relationships. By listening and working together, we help create environments where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s through employment, education, community engagement, or personal development, we strive to remove barriers and amplify the strengths that each person brings.
We imagine a world where people of all abilities are not just accommodated, but embraced. Where their talents are recognised and their perspectives are respected. This is a future built on equity, dignity, and the unwavering belief that everyone has something valuable to offer.
Care and support
We offer a whole-life approach to the children, young people and adults we support, from play schemes to employment projects, enabling support in someone's own home and accommodation with nursing.
Enterprises and supported employment
Our social enterprises, including high street shops, potteries, cafes and a care farm, employ people with learning disabilities and/or autism as well as offering supported employment and trainee placements.
Brandon Packaging
Brandon Packaging fills orders for transplant retrieval kits for use across the NHS. The project provides vocational training and paid employment for people with learning disabilities and autism.
The retrieval kits are built by supported employees and trainees and are distributed via the National Organ Retrieval Service to hospitals across the country.
We are based at the Vassall Centre in Fishponds, Bristol – a fully accessible space.
Co-production and consultation
Brandon is a trusted partner for many organisations, ranging from the NHS to universities. Our Adventurers are people with lived experience who are employed by Brandon to provide consulting services to ensure projects are inclusive and accessible to all.
Information for families
Families are so important to the people we support and that means families are important to us too - our families are involved in their relatives' lives and in decision-making at Brandon, including helping us to create our current strategic plan, Plan B.
Whole Life Support
Brandon supports through people's whole lives, from childhood through to adulthood and later life.
