Description
Bristol City Football Club was formed 1894 as the Bristol South End Football Club playing their games at St. John's Lane, Bedminster. Things have changed a good deal since then with the club moving ever upwards, storming to the League One title in 2014, beating Manchester United in 2017.
Academy
Our vision: a first team squad built on a core of home-grown talent.
To achieve our goals, we will:
Continue to develop and optimise our talent
Identify and attract talent into our system
Plan and build our new training ground with first class facilities and the aim to strengthen our club
To develop and maintain a structure with clear role profiles, responsibilities and performance measures to track progress against our objectives
Our goal is to become the premier club of the South West. We aim to be innovative in our practices in order to achieve sustainable success at the highest level. Both the first team and the Academy are working towards a common goal to create a squad built on a core of home-grown talent.
Bristol City Supporters Club
The Supporters Club, established since 1949, and Supporters Trust, formed in 2005, merged in the summer of 2012.
This is a very proactive fans group, running a matchday bar, Q&A sessions, events, statue appeals, fans representation, programme services, campaigns, petitions, surveys and much more.
Robins Foundation
We at the Robins Foundation recognise that football is so much more than just a professional game. We strive to make the beautiful game inclusive and accessible to all, and that is where the 'We Are City' project comes in.
We Are City aims to make playing for Bristol City accessible to as many people as possible by forming associations with teams made up of groups of people who are all too frequently marginalised in society.
VIP Hospitality
Our spacious Lansdown Restaurant offers a unique and stylish way to entertain clients, family and friends.
There are three packages to choose from for the ultimate hospitality experience at Ashton Gate Stadium.
We look forward to welcoming guests for 2021/22 in a safe environment, offering private tables, a digital food and drinks ordering service (via your smartphone) and a private dedicated VIP entrance. All of this combine to offer the perfect matchday experience.
These teams then don the red jersey and represent Bristol City in both regional and national tournaments.
We provide our associated teams with Bristol City kits and aim to support them in any way we can, whether this be by: offering coaching, to providing assistance in hiring facilities, to raising awareness for the teams.
We are proud to currently have welcomed six teams into the Bristol City family as part of the We Are City project.
