I am indeed the same Dr Lynch from Bath Ghost Tours. After many years of leading highly praised tours around the haunts of Bath, I started researching some of the literally dozens of hauntings in Bristol. Having grown up in Bristol, and indeed having lived in a haunted house in the city as a child, I knew that the city should have, and deserved a proper ghost tour. It has taken two years of research, but finally in 2023, we were ready to share some of the many stories that have been uncovered. We have had to be quite brutal in deciding which haunts are included, as Bristol itself, is a difficult city to discover on foot. Consequently, our ghost tour is centred around the Old Medieval area of the city, which unsurprisingly perhaps, is full of tales of the paranormal!
Where do the tours begin/meeting point?
All of the tours begin outside of the Bristol Cathedral on College green. Very central and easy to find. On the evening of the tour itself, please arrive no later than 5 mins before the tour and look for the costumed guide close to the main door of the Cathedral.
Where does the tour finish?
The Bristol Ghost Tour ends in Queens Square, right in the heart of the city and close to public transport and hotels. Queens Square is also just at the end of one of Bristol's best locations for a recovery drink or three, being very close to King street.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes indeed we do, private tours are suitable for groups between 2 and 32 people. If you have a larger group request, this is still possible, but it will require an extra guide and splitting the group into 2. Private tours are available on most days of the year, subject to availability. Please contact us directly for further details.

Is the tour suitable for children?
This is indeed a good question. The ghost tour is indeed suitable for children and is a lot of fun. We have spent a lot of time with the Bath Ghost Tour, making sure that it is suitable for all the family, and we have taken the same principles and applied them to the Bristol Ghost Tour.
