The City Farm Café

The City Farm Café is the social heart of Windmill Hill City Farm, providing a cosy bolthole on cold days, or a shady spot when it’s sunnier. The Cafe reflects the ethos of the Farm, offering home-cooked, carefully sourced food. We use as much meat and fresh produce as we can from the Farm itself, and the money we pay for these lovely ingredients in turn supports the Farm’s charitable work, helping them to offer volunteering opportunities to adults with support needs, who in turn help us to maintain these beautiful 4 acres.

We aim to be family-friendly and inclusive, so we provide the things families need to have a relaxing day out, such as high chairs and baby changers in the nearby toilets. We are happy to warm a bottle or food for younger babies and provide a healthy and varied children’s menu. There are books to read and a play area to run around, as well as the wonderful landscape that surrounds us.
