Found in the old library, the 1853 Restaurant & Bar has maintained many of its original features including oak-panelling, ornate archways and a grand fireplace with views out across the gardens.

The 1853 restaurant’s seasonal menu brings together traditional flavours and the very best of locally sourced produce, creating a thoughtfully curated selection of dishes. Each plate is complemented by a carefully chosen wine list, designed to enhance every dining experience.

The much-loved Sunday Lunch, served between 12:30pm and 3:30pm, or start your day with us during the week, now welcoming non-residents for breakfast from Monday to Friday.

Afternoon tea is served traditional or with a glass of champagne or prosecco and starts with savoury finger sandwiches, followed by freshly baked scones and seasonal cakes.

The Atrium Bistro Bar
A 60-foot high soaring glass roof, exposed brickwork, indoor greenery and subtle lighting lends stylish flair to the unfussy yet delicious food served in the Atrium Bistro Bar. Choose from a range of comfort food classics along with salads, sandwiches, burgers and stone-baked pizzas paired with a range of wines, champagnes, beers and cocktails that are on offer at the bar.

The Tipi
The Tipi is an all-new drinking and dining experience in the heart of the hotel’s beautiful gardens. It’s an idyllic and atmospheric spot for mingling with friends and colleagues over ice-cold drinks and artisan cocktails. It offers a selection of small plates to share with the table, made with locally sourced seasonal produce as well as a selection of desserts, cheeses and ice cream. The Tipi is also available to hire for private events, making it ideal for summer parties and corporate events. Open Fridays and Saturdays 5.30pm to 9.30pm.

The Terrace
Get together to eat and drink al fresco at the Terrace in Tortworth Court, there is no better place to be when the sun is shining. Enjoy food, hot and cold drinks or even an afternoon tea in the sunshine overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens and don’t miss out on the different events that take place during the summertime. The Terrace is open morning, afternoon and evening if the weather is fair.
