Description
Go Aloft!
Master the climb
Discover what it was like to be a Victorian sailor of the SS Great Britain crew, and climb the ship’s rigging 25 metres into the sky. Feeling even braver? Edge out 9m over the Great Western Dockyard for hands down the best birds-eye view in Bristol.
The only way is up
Each session lasts roughly 30 minutes and is limited to two climbers at a time. You’ll be guided through every step by trained instructors from Young Bristol’s Outdoor Employment Programme. We’re proud to support the youth-driven charity in its mission to help young locals develop leadership skills and gain nationally recognised qualifications. They’ll make sure you’re safe at all times, in an experience we promise is as authentic as the mid-19th century.
