Since 2002 our aim at The Clifton Sausage has been to show that when British food is done well, it can compete with the best food in the world.

Situated in the heart of Bristol’s Clifton Village, our family owned bar and restaurant serves delicious, seasonal and locally sourced food and great drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our warm and inviting restaurant is furnished with pine tables, candles and heritage colour walls, combining comfort and class in the surroundings, as well as in the food and service.

The team at the restaurant is headed by owners Simon and Joy Quarrie. We all believe in providing friendly and relaxed service alongside delicious, freshly prepared food.

We’re open every day from 12pm and serve our menus all day. As all our dishes are freshly prepared to order, we can accommodate all dietary requirements and allergies.

Large parties are always welcome and we can arrange bespoke menus for groups and special occasions.

Customers with canine friends can request a dog friendly table in our bar area, where the food and service are the same as in our restaurant.

Whether it’s a mid-week meal, a party a special occasion or a drink at our bar, The Clifton Sausage team are ready to take care of you.

A warm welcome and an array of top quality drinks greet you as you enter our bar. Local and continental beers and ciders as well as a fantastic selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks provide great choice for everyone.

We pride ourselves on our regularly changing wine list with over forty wines available by the glass.
