We’re an independent neighbourhood restaurant and cocktail club, housed inside one of Bristol’s most iconic landmark buildings, right in the heart of the historic harbourside. We’re a stone’s throw from the buzz of King Street and Queen Square.

With a low-waste ethos and strong ties to local producers, charities and community projects, The Granary is our way of blending bold flavours with a deep sense of place. We hope you feel right at home here.

By day, we’re a relaxed all-day dining spot serving up locally roasted coffee, vibrant brunches, and bold, fire-cooked dishes inspired by Persian flavours. Our flatbreads are made fresh in-house, and open-flame cooking brings a sense of theatre to every plate. Our menus shift with the seasons and showcase the best of the South West, from top-quality meats sourced from local butchers to produce grown right here in the region.

As the sun sets (Wednesday - Saturday) The Granary Club comes alive. Hidden in the vaulted cellar of the building, this once legendary rock venue (1968 - 1988) was a cornerstone of Bristol's live music scene and also the backdrop for one of the Only Fools and Horses most iconic scenes. Today the spirit lives on. A boundary pushing cocktail bar where nostalgia meets innovation. Expect timeless classic cocktails with an unexpected edge. It's iconic, it's underground. It's unmissable.

The Granary Club

Step foot inside The Granary Club, our exclusive late-night music & cocktail bar where over 1,500 bands played including Dire Straits, Thin Lizzy & Eric Clapton.

Whilst our mixologists handcraft classic, contemporary & lo/no cocktails with the best locally sourced spirits and foraged syrups from fields, fruits, and flowers, pose along our bar where Del Boy famously fell through in “Only Fools & Horses”. It promises to be a night to remember.

Drinks Philosophy

Here at The Granary Club we work with contemporary and classic techniques to focus on sustainability in our drinks whilst maximising flavour and experience. Working with the chefs upstairs in The Granary’s kitchen, we find innovative ways to integrate their surplus ingredients and byproducts into our drinks to create unique textures and flavours, all whilst reducing our waste footprint.
