Stand Up For The Weekend with Paul Mccaffrey and Guests

Featuring Matt Green plus compere Clint Edwards. Paul McCaffrey is an award-winning comedian and headlines at the biggest comedy clubs in the country. He has performed four critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows as well as major music festivals: Reading, Leeds, V Festival, Bestival and Latitude. L'Elisir D'Amore by Gaetano Donizetti

Bristol Opera will be performing Donizetti's comic opera which is set on the estate of wealthy landowner Adina at her polo stables and her golf and country club, the story tells of lowly stable lad, golf caddy and general dogsbody, Nemorino’s adoration for socialite Adina, which is rebuked in favour of the caddish Captain Belcore. Dr Dulcamara peddles remedies and cure-all’s to the village and a desperate Nemorino begs for an elixir of love to guarantee that Adina will fall hopelessly in love with him. It seems to work on all the village girls, but will it seduce Adina before she hastily marries Belcore? Valentine's Dinner Dance with music from 60's covers band Carnaby Street

Enjoy a special Valentine's Dinner starting with a 'love potion' on arrival followed by a three course meal with live music from Carnaby Street. Carnaby Street are a five piece 60’s music tribute band whose agenda is to keep it as authentic as possible and to get everyone on the dance floor. With an energetic mix of well loved classic covers from the 60’s era the band can be relied upon to get the party dancing and singing along. 7pm for 7.30pm sharp. Afrika Eye Film Screening: Rooted in Bristol

Join us on Thursday 3rd Feb at 6pm for a screening of the Afrika Eye Film Festival’s Rooted in Bristol with a Q&A session. Premiered at the Afrika Eye Film Festival in November, Rooted in Bristol is a documentary celebrating the contribution that people of African heritage have made to Bristol’s green spaces. Specifically, it looks at those creating and sustaining kitchen gardens across the allotment communities in Bristol over many decades. This screening will be followed by a Q&A curated by Afrika Eye featuring members of the Rooted in Bristol team. 3 February. Windmill Hill City Farm, Philip Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 4EA
