Let’s Walk Bristol Festival

Take part in Bristol’s vibrant walking festival. It’s suitable for all, with a Nordic edge. The festival is all about getting outdoors, enjoying nature, walking, exploring and strengthening community. It’s suitable for everyone and is the perfect way to discover more of Bristol and the amazing surrounding countryside. On Sunday there’s a celebration in Ashton Court with more music, street food and a marquee. It’s the registration hub for a wide range of walks including the Bristol bridges challenge, a leisure trail, family adventure trail and some amazing Clifton circular walks all crossing Brunel’s suspension bridge. 1st - 3rd October 2021

Stand Up For The Weekend with Stuart Goldsmith and guests

The Lady Boys of Bangkok return to Bristol

Prepare for a night you’ll talk about for years with The Lady Boys of Bangkok as they flirt, tease and tempt! Great Bristol Run

The Great Bristol Run (19 September) will be an action-packed weekend of running, and the first time the 10k and Half Marathon events will take place on the same day, along with the Junior event. Join the return of Bristol’s much-loved running event, famous for the buzzing atmosphere & crowd support, beautiful route along the Avon Gorge, and iconic music and entertainment zones providing the soundtrack to your run. Whether you do it for the challenge, to fundraise for charity, or simply for fun, Be Your Greatest with us in 2021, the year of the comeback! Great Bristol Run entries are open to runners aged 15+ (10k) and 17+ (Half marathon) on the day of the event.

Bristol's Tour de Fun

Get on your bikes this summer and join in the fun for our bike ride challenge! Pedal the kilometres along our scenic route out of the city to raise vital funds for the Hospice.This is a challenge to complete in your own time throughout August and September on a date to suit you, and with the best weather forecast. With the choice to complete either a standard route of around 15km or take on the extended route that covers approximately 30km, there's a route to suit all abilities and using only cycle paths, shared pavements and quiet residential roads so that all ages can take part and ride for the Hospice together. until 30 September.

1940s Weekend Avon Valley Railway

18 & 19 September sees the return of the annual 1940s weekend. Admire the vintage vehicle and Home Front re-enactor displays, enjoy music from Jayne Darling, meet ‘Winston Churchill’ and just generally soak up the atmosphere on this special weekend. Plus steam train rides throughout the day. You’ll need to reserve your seats on a specific train and time. They are planning on seating family groups of bubbles in separate compartments or tables away from other passengers to help keep everyone safe. Once onboard you’ll enjoy a 50 minute ride on one of the steam-hauled trains. Bitton Station, Bath Road, Bitton, Bristol, BS30 6HD

Circus of the Streets 2021
